Resistance value test: The resistance value of the ignition coil is directly related to the quality of the ignition performance. If there is no fire or weak sparks, the resistance value of the primary winding and the secondary winding should be checked.
The coil burnout is mainly due to the aging breakdown of the insulation layer or the damage of the switching transistor. A large or small spark plug gap will also cause a large primary/secondary coil load, large heat generation, and rapid insulation aging. The assembled ignition coil may have poor durability of the insulating material, a large internal resistance of the coil, large heat generation, and a low quality transistor. The life will also be shorter.
Note: Wrapping raw tape is just to prevent air leakage. It only needs to be wrapped a little. If it is wrapped too much, it will not be pressed in place, resulting in a change in position.
